Branch County Resident busted with $10k and Cocaine

It’s all too familiar. But not so much when it’s a mother of 5 children and allegedly running a licensed daycare. On top of that, Michigan State Police confiscate 2 guns, one that was reported stolen….scales, cocaine and Hydrocodone. All of it packaged and ready to hit the street.

The lure of easy money for some is just too tempting. Meth and Cocaine are drugs that were endorsed by Satan himself. Once you get hooked, or once you taste the money from it..or both..there’s only one path you get put on, and that’s ultimately behind bars. What can Branch County Residents do to help stop this type of crime? All of this woman’s children were taken into protective custody, and will ultimately go to foster care either to relatives or families that will help.

Over in Centreville, MI and NEW ministry called ROOTED is gaining significant support among the county residents. Businesses have been lining up to contribute literally six figures to see the completion of this Safe Home and Transition Home for foster kids.

When we first read about this, it took me back to the days of my own addictions…riding around on a Honda Elite Scooter, no helmet, 7-10 grams of Coke in my pocket and making the deliveries. During the late 80’s, Hollywood was the place to sell and buy Cocaine. It’s hard to tell how many lives you ruin by selling the Devil’s Candy. That’s why it’s so vitally important to get clean, get sober, and walk away from the life of easy money and drug addiction. This woman is facing some serious jail time, and all that time separated from her children will have more of an impact on them, then what she was arrested for.
